In remembrance of Virginia F Pauls We gather here to today to celebrate the amazing life of Virginia F Paul’s. Virginia was called home on January 18 2024, flurries of snow had just started. She lived an incredible life filled with love, joy and faith. Virginia was born November 11, 1933. She grew up on a farm in Buhler Kansas and that is where she graduated high school. Shortly after she met the love of her life Harold Pauls, then they began their life story. They were wed for a loving 70 years. Harold and Virginia had 4 children, Lou Berning, Rodney Pauls (2011) Janette Evans and Judy Branstiter (2014). They had seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Virgina was the epitome of a Farmers wife. Taking care of things at home while Harold was harvesting the fields with the help from her children and grandchildren. Virgina worked for Farmers National Bank for an incredible 50 years before retiring, she started working at the bank at age 18 years old. In her spare time Virgina loved to cook, bake, sew and garden. When pulling onto the Inman farm you would see the driveway lined with the most beautiful flowers, from roses to tulips and hibiscus, she took great pride in her garden. If she wasn’t outside in the garden she was in her back room sewing a new quilt. Many of you have received a sewn quilt from Virginia, she loved giving these special quilts as a gift for new baby or as a wedding gift. 100’s of quilts have been made over the years. And more to come from her collection of quilts. Virginia and Harold together made it a point to be apart of each of their grandkids lives. The joy of having the grand children home and cooking for them was everything. They traveled across the country to stay connected with their children and grand children from Kansas, Colorado, Texas and even Louisiana. The love they poured out to their grandchildren was unwavering and made a great impact on each of their lives. Virginia was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and was always on the go. Remembering days in the kitchen, she would be preparing a meal for Thanksgiving or Christmas, everyone would be in her kitchen telling stories and making sure their favorite pie or cookies was being baked. Pure chaos, but that’s what she loved. Rest in peace, Virginia F. Pauls so glad you are all together in heaven. Your legacy of love, kindness, faith, and family will forever live on. You truly have made an impact on each of our lives and will never be forgotten. You made us who we are today. Services will be held at Hoffnungsau Mennonite Church on Saturday February 17th at 10:00 am burial service followed by a memorial service. Traditional lunch will be served. Donations are greatly to Hoffnansgau Church or Good Shepherd Hospice - Newton, Kansas.
