Paula G Premer, 55, of McPherson, Kansas, passed away Friday, November 6th, 2015 while in the company of family members, at Hospice House, Hutchinson, Kansas. Paula Gail Premer, the daughter of Kenneth Donald “Kenny” and Virginia Louise (Borth) Kenney, was born March 30, 1960 in McPherson, Kansas. She was one of three daughters, including sisters Susan and Karyn. Paula attended Inman elementary school and graduated in 1978 from Inman High School, Inman, Kansas. Paula Gail Kenney Hague was united in marriage to LeWayne Randall 'Randy' Premer on November 2, 2007 in McPherson, Kansas. The couple established their first home together in McPherson, and this union brought together three children, Jessica, Nickolas, and Aaron. Paula was a homemaker, and she took great pride in caring for her family. She began a long career at Sterling Drug in 1978 and faithfully worked for 36 years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in McPherson, Kansas. Paula was a Christian, loving and caring wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, co-worker, and dear friend. Her wise counsel, gentle guidance, and infectious smile and laugh will be missed by those who knew and loved her. Randy and Paula were truly blessed with a special bond and were so very proud of their children. Paula loved shopping with Jessi, watching Nick play baseball and golf, and watching Aaron play baseball. Paula loved her four-legged kids, Bentley and Lexie, and ensured that they were truly spoiled. Paula cherished her family and her friends and was always thoughtful. Paula loved shopping and antiquing and exhibited endurance that the most avid shopper would envy. She was artistic and enjoyed creating all types of art. Paula also liked to tell stories and created scavenger hunts every year for her family to enjoy on holidays. In 2013, Paula was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. For two and half years, she endured an epic battle that she bravely and whole-heartedly fought alongside her husband, family, many co-workers and friends. At 10:00 a.m., on Friday, November 6th, 2015, at Hospice House, Hutchinson, Kansas, Paula passed away with her family by her side. Paula was preceded in death by her father, Kenny, her father-in-law, LeWayne Premer and brother-in-law, Ryan Premer. Paula is survived by her loving, caring and faithful husband, Randy, of McPherson, Kansas; her children, Jessica Peterson, of Dallas, Texas, Nickolas 'Nick' Hague, of Hutchinson, Kansas, and Aaron Premer and his fiancée Makenzie Kirkhart, of Marquette, Kansas; her canine companions, Bentley and Lexie; her mother, Virginia Kenney, of McPherson, Kansas; her sisters, Susan Walker and her husband Clyde, of Kaufman, Texas and Karyn Larson and her husband Lyle, of Inman, Kansas; her mother-in-law, Glenna Premer, of Lawrence, Kansas; her sisters-in-law, Roni Hernandez and her husband Michael, of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Ann Premer and her husband Rich Federico, of Portland, Oregon; as well as many nieces, nephews, family, co-workers and friends. The memorial service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, McPherson, Kansas, at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 12th, 2015 with The Reverend Tim Leaf officiating. Special music “Somewhere Over The Rainbow”, “I Miss You A Little”, “You Are My Sunshine” and the “Lord’s Prayer” will be sung and accompanied by Michelle King. The Congregation will sing “Amazing Grace” with Michelle King accompanying. Private family committal service was held at the McPherson Cemetery, McPherson, Kansas.
